Athens - Milos

Duration: 7 Days /6 Nights
Mantrakia village, Milos island
per person in a triple room From 456

An unusual island by virtue of its geology, its coastline lovely beaches and without the crowds that are found in the more popular Cyclades Islands. Milos is worth a visit if you are looking for good beaches, authentic villages and uncrowded ancient sites. A short walk down the hill is the ancient site of Milos, with its Dorian walls, fragments of column and remains of a Roman amphitheatre. This is where the Venus de Milo statue was found. There are some early Christian catacombs near Milos and below this is the tiny fishing settlement of Klima - no beach but lots of charm. Good for families and those wanting an "authentic" island.
