You are about to embark on a Cycladic adventure like no other! After a short stay in Athens -which includes a carefully planned half day tour- you will traverse the Aegean to reach three different islands and immerse yourself in the customs and traditions of Syros, Paros & Naxos!
Lets begin with Syros, an island which is a mosaic of different cultures as the Greeks, Romans, Turks and Franks have all settled on the island at one point and helped shape its identity today. The capital Ermoupoli features some of the most beautiful sites in the region, with the Apollo Theater, the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas and the Catholic Monastery of Capuchins standing out among the rest. If you have a sweet tooth, you should try loukoumia, a traditional treat popular all around Greece!
Following that you will visit Paros a much more 'Cycladic' island in terms of architecture and geography. Whitewashed houses and cobblestoned alleys lead to impeccable views of the deep blue Aegean Sea. Picturesque villages lie just a short walk away from sandy beaches. Life seems to slow down and all you want to do is ask yourself why you can't leave everything behind and permanently move here.
In the same vein you will appreciate Naxos, often called Paros' sister island. Naxos is home to several beautiful villages both inland and around its shoreline and launching several excursions to them is a great way to spend your Naxian days. The island is also renowned for its wines and cheeses which can add a culinary aspect to your exploration.
