You are about to embark on a Cycladic adventure like no other! After a short stay in Athens -which includes a carefully planned half day tour- you will traverse the Aegean to reach three different islands and immerse yourself in the customs and traditions of Syros, Paros & Naxos!

Lets begin with Syros, an island which is a mosaic of different cultures as the Greeks, Romans, Turks and Franks have all settled on the island at one point and helped shape its identity today. The capital Ermoupoli features some of the most beautiful sites in the region, with the Apollo Theater, the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas and the Catholic Monastery of Capuchins standing out among the rest. If you have a sweet tooth, you should try loukoumia, a traditional treat popular all around Greece!

Following that you will visit Paros a much more 'Cycladic' island in terms of architecture and geography. Whitewashed houses and cobblestoned alleys lead to impeccable views of the deep blue Aegean Sea. Picturesque villages lie just a short walk away from sandy beaches. Life seems to slow down and all you want to do is ask yourself why you can't leave everything behind and permanently move here.

In the same vein you will appreciate Naxos, often called Paros' sister island. Naxos is home to several beautiful villages both inland and around its shoreline and launching several excursions to them is a great way to spend your Naxian days. The island is also renowned for its wines and cheeses which can add a culinary aspect to your exploration.

To alleviate your worries and help you enjoy the city, we have organized a half day sightseeing tour carefully planned to make sure you don't miss out on the most important sites of Athens. It will no doubt delight you to hear that the tour concludes in the iconic Acropolis and its new modern museum, full of exhibits from different historical eras. In the evening, you will have ample time to continue your exploration of Athens and its famous nightlife!

  • Day 3 - Arrival in Syros
You will meet our assistant at your hotel and be transferred to the port of Piraeus in order to embark on your Cycladic journey across the Aegean! First stop is Syros, the capital of the Cycladic complex and an island with a very different appeal than most others, since it has been settled over the centuries by Greeks, Turks, Persians, Romans and Franks, each of which have left their mark on the island which is now an amalgam of many great civilizations!
    Overnight: Syros
    Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 4 – Experience Syros
Though Syros has no doubt many spots to explore, given that you only have one day on the island, we recommend you dive deep into the town of Ermoupoli and its vast, complex history. Some of the most prominent sites in the town include the Apollo Theater designed in the 19th century and inspired by La Scala in Milan and the cathedral of Saint Nicholas, the patron saint of the island. The latter is located in the Vaporia district, an iconic neighborhood of Syros full of neoclassical manors built by retired sea captains. Throughout your walks around Ermoupoli you will see the Catholic Monastery of Capuchins looming over the town. Situated in Ano Syros (the upper town) it was founded in the 17th century, serving as a religious center as will as a shelter from pirate raids.
    Overnight: Syros
    Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 5 - Arrival in Paros
Our local affiliate will transport you to the port of Syros from where you will take a boat to Paros. Once there, you will have another transfer coming and after you reach your hotel it’s best to hit the ground running and begin exploring one of Paros’ larger towns. As you stroll down beautiful cobblestoned alleys full of whitewashed houses, keep an eye out for a cozy tavern where you can have a traditional dinner.
    Overnight: Paros
    Meals: Breakfast

  • Days 6 & 7 – Explore Paros
The two bigger towns of Paros, Naousa and Parikia might just need an entire day of their own in order to properly experience them. However, Paros is full of smaller villages that are picture-perfect such as Lefkes, Marpissa and Kostos just to name a few. It’s best to budget your time and decide which of these you’d like to visit, or alternatively customize yoru itinerary to extend your stay in Paros. Of course, if you wish to briefly leave Paros and add another island to your journey, we highly recommend a twin island tour of Paros & Antiparos.
    Overnight: Paros
    Meals: 2 Breakfasts

  • Day 8 - Arrival in Naxos
In the morning you will reach the port of Naousa with the help of our local assistant and board the ferry to Naxos, often called Paros’ sister island. As you approach Naxos, make sure to keep an eye out for the stunning Portara, a large gate that is the only remnant of the Temple of Apollo near the shore. Once you disembark you will find our representative waiting to transport you to your hotel and share recommendations about your first night on the island!
    Overnight: Naxos
    Meals: Breakfast

  • Days 9 & 10 – Explore Naxos
You have two days to explore the vast island of Naxos and no matter how active you will be, we guarantee you’d wish you had more time to spend on the island. Naxos’ villages merit several days of exploration on their own, so perhaps a guided tour might be just what you need. Naxos is also known for its wine and cheese varieties so make sure to add a culinary element to your excursions around the island! Last but certainly not least, beach-hopping is a real thing in Naxos with idyllic spots like Plaka, Agios Prokopios, Aliko, Mikri Viglia and Maragas taking center stage!
    Overnight: Naxos
    Meals: 2 Breakfasts

  • Day 11 - Return to Athens
Your Cycladic adventure has come to an end so with the help of our local collaborator you will be transported to the port of Naousa and hop on a ferry back to Athens. There, as you are no doubt used to by now, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel to avoid the hassle of navigating in the city on your own. Take some time to enjoy your last night in Athens and perhaps pick up a souvenir or two in Emrou Street for your friends back home!
    Overnight: Athens
    Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 12 - Departure from Athens
