Sometimes the best things in life are simple! Enjoy a relaxing vacation in Greece in two interconnected Cycladic islands and immerse yourselves to the traditions of the region!

Starting from Athens, you will get a taste of the ancient world as a carefully designed city tour shows you the most important monuments before culminating -where else?- at the Acropolis! From there you will embark on a journey to the islands of Paros and Naxos, two Cycladic jewels floating next to each other in perfect synergy. Paros may have a slightly upper hand when it comes to beaches, while Naxos is more known for its culinary delights, yet the differences are so small that you will need to pay attention to start differentiating the two. However, both feature a number of picturesque villages begging to be explored and the choices you make during your forays in the countryside will uniquely shape your itinerary and your experience of the islands. There are make tours on offer if you wish to add a more organized component to your journey, but that is entirely up to you!

If you wish to add more island destinations, you can enhance your itinerary by adding Mykonos & Santorini!

  • Day 2 - Athens Half Day Sightseeing Tour
Athens is full of history and it can feel like a missed opportunity to not explore the main historic highlights while you are here. This is why we have arranged a half-day Tour of Athens that is carefully designed to introduce you to the most important monuments of the city in just a few hours. Starting from Constitution Square -the heart of Athens- and roaming around the center, you will see ancient monuments like Hadrian’s Arch and the Temple of Zeus as well as Neoclassical marvels such as the Academy of Athens and the National Library. A tour of Athens cannot culminate anywhere but the Acropolis, the crown jewel of the city!
    Overnight: Athens
    Meals: Breakfast

  • Day 3 – Arrival in Paros
Up bright and early to be escorted to the port of Piraeus where you will board a ship to your first island destination. Paros is a quintessentially Cycladic island, full of little towns and villages populated by whitewashed houses and serene windmills. Once there, our local collaborator will drive you to your hotel and you’ll be ready to start your exploration of Paros as you dreamed of doing!
    Overnight: Paros
    Meals: Breakfast

  • Days 4 & 5 - Experience Paros
You will have two full days to enjoy Paros to your heart’s content and the island’s diversity gives you many ways to do so. If you wish to laze around a beach, you can go on a beach hopping adventure to find your favorite one! Popular choices include the rocky Kolymbithres and Chrisi Akti or the sandy Faraggas and Santa Maria among many others! If you wish to explore the Parian countryside, make sure to visit some traditional villages such as Drios, Lefkes and Piso Livadi, aside from the towns of Parikia and Naousa. Finally, if you find yourselves wishing to see what lies beyond Paros, you can opt for a tour of Antiparos, the tiny island next to Paros, or even a cruise around that and Despotiko!
    Overnight: Paros
    Meals: 2 Breakfasts

  • Day 6 - Arrival in Naxos
After you leave your hotel with the aid of our local collaborator, you will be transported to the port and hop on a ferry to nearby Naxos, frequently mentioned as Paros’ sister island. A true counterpart just a smidge to the east, Naxos might feel at first the same as Paros, but during your stay there you will learn to recognize the subtle differences that give it a special flavor. As you approach the port you will notice the iconic gate called Portara, a remnant of a Temple dedicated to Apollo. Upon your arrival you will be driven to your hotel and you will have the rest of the day to explore Naxos. May we suggest that you begin by sampling some of the island’s exquisite wines?
    Overnight: Naxos
    Meals: Breakfast

  • Days 7 & 8 - Explore Naxos
Time to carve your own adventure once more! Naxos is full of villages that can serve as stops to an endless culinary journey if you know where to look! Famous for its cheese production, the entire island can surprise you with its flavors and welcoming spirit! If you feel you need a guide to help you acclimate to Naxian traditions, we recommend an exploration of the island’s heritage or a guided tour of the old market!  As far as sightseeing is concerned, if you want a taste of antiquity, you will do well to visit the Doric Temple of Demeter which was a religious center for the island for some time since its construction in the 5th century BCE.
    Overnight: Naxos
    Meals: 2 Breakfasts

  • Day 9 - Return to Athens

Pick up souvenirs that will make your friends back home jealous and enjoy one last delicious meal in a cozy tavern. As the night comes to an end, make sure to look up at the Athenian horizon and marvel at the Acropolis as it lights up to illuminate the city’s skyline.
