This one-day tour will take you to the highlights of Argolis and guide you to an exploration of the region's rich history. Start your adventure with a drive along the scenic coastal roads of the Saronic Gulf for a visit to the Corinth Canal, a testament to human ingenuity, before proceeding to Mycenae the ancient city in which the legendary King Agamemnon ruled. As you walk through the Lion's Gate, around the Cyclopean Walls, past the Royal Tomb and Agamemnon's Palace, you will understand more and more with each step, why Homer praised the richness of Mycenae. Departing from Mycenae we will reach the picturesque coastal town of Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece, where a short stop for pictures will be permitted. Before returning to Athens, you will visit the ancient theater of Epidaurus. Famous for its incredible acoustics, this 4th century amphitheater is a beacon of culture that shines bright till this day.

We will pick you up from select spots in Athens (departure at approx 8:45) and drive along the scenic coastal roads of the Saronic Gulf for a visit to Corinth, before proceeding to Mycenae. There you can visit the ruins, including the Lion Gate, Tomb of Agamemnon and Palace. After lunch, depart via Argolis for Nafplio, the first capital of modern Greece. After lunch, you will visit Epidaurus where you will explore the famous 4th century amphitheater known worldwide for its acoustics. Return to Athens by the National road connecting Epidauros with Corinth in the evening (approx. 19:00).
