Your trip is far over though, as what follows is the chance to experience mainland Greece with a 4-day classical tour.   • Day 1: Arrival at Athens
    Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel by private driver. The remaining of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Athens.
  • Day 2: Athens - Half Day Sightseeing Tour
    After breakfast we meet you at your hotel or close by, in order to start the morning Half Day Athens Sightseeing Tour. The remaining afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight in Athens.
  • Day 3: Athens - Saronic Gulf Cruise
    Morning transfer from your hotel to the pier for an all day cruise to the scenic Saronic Islands. Lunch is served on board. You'll be returned back to your hotel in the early evening. Overnight in Athens.
  • Day 4: Nafplio - Olympia
    Depart this morning on a four day Classical tour. Visit ancient Mycenae and Epidaurus theater, famous for its acoustics. Then, drive through the Central Peloponnese to Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. Overnight in Olympia.
  • Day 5: Delphi
    Visit the Sanctuary of the Olympian Zeus and the museum. Then drive to Patras and take the ferry from Rio to Antirio. Arrive in Delphi through the picturesque town of Nafpaktos. Overnight in Delphi.
  • Day 6: Kalambaka (Meteora)
    Visit Castalia Spring, the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia and of Apollo Pythios as well as the museum. Then on to Kalambaka for overnight stay.
  • Day 7: Meteora - Return to Athens
    Visit Meteora, the ageless monasteries, perched on top of huge rocks, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Evening return to Athens. Overnight.
  • Day 8: Depart from Athens
    Transfer to Athens airport for your return flight.

  • Appropriate clothing is required to visit the Monasteries. Long skirts below the knees for the ladies and long trousers for the gentlemen. The monasteries, also, provide long skirts before every entrance. The ladies can choose and wear a long skirt over their clothing, during the tour, and return it, prior to their departure.
  • The land tours are usually bilingual, implemented in English and one additional language (French or Italian).
  • The land tours include a complimentary pick-up / drop-off service from / to your hotel or other predefined spots in Athens and surrounding areas. Maximum duration of this service to gather / distribute tour participants is approximately 1 hour. Thus, pick-up time may vary for each guest and will be promptly provided by your personal agent.
