Athens - 4 Night Cruise

Duration: 7 Days / 6 Nights
Traditional houses and windmill by night, Santorini island sunset
Package rate per person in double room during low season From 1263

This package is carefully crafted to include diverse Mediterranean destinations, each with historical significance during different eras. Your journey begins in Athens, the heart of the Hellenic world, and with it comes a half day tour designed to illustrate the city's importance through the ages. The visit to the Acropolis, the ancient temple perched splendidly above the city, is certainly the highlight of the day and an unmissable experience. Your exploration will continue on the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea with a 4 night cruise to the Greek islands and Turkey.

First stop is Mykonos, an amalgam of the traditional Cycladic spirit contemporary glamour scene. Lively bars, modern restaurants and elegant galleries coexist peacefully with quaint fish taverns, cobblestoned alleys and tranquil windmills. Up next is the coast of Asia Minor and the popular resort of Kusadasi, where an otpional excursion to ancient Ephesus is in order.

Switch schools of ancient thought in Patmos, as you depart from the sphere of Athenian influence, to the sphere of Jerusalem. Patmos is a place of incredible religious importance, serving as the setting of John the Theologian’s Book of Revelation. Continuing south, you reach Rhodes, a place indelibly marked by the Knights Hospitaller.

In Heraklion, the largest city in Crete, you will have a chance to see the Palace of Knossos, known as the center of the Minoan civilization, even though Knossos has been a cultural beacon for the region since the Neolithic era. The Minoans’ influence has extended to your final destination, Santorini, where the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri is home to incredibly preserved frescoes dating back to the Cycladic Bronze Age.
