This package features a Biblical journey inspired by the route of St. Paul in ancient Greece, including places where St.Paul passed his days preaching and unique sites of archaeological and religious interest, such as Mycenae and the famous Epidaurus Theater, Meteora monasteries and the Cave of Apocalypse on the island of Patmos. Experience the mainland’s diverse and majestic natural environment, traditional villages, incredible landscapes, and vibrant cities. Then continue with a cruise to some of the most beautiful Greek islands, including the cosmopolitan white-washed island of Mykonos, the sacred island of Patmos, the medieval time-travelling island of Rhodes, the traditional and jovial island of Crete, the helplessly beautiful crescent shaped island of Santorini, as well as the oriental coastal resort of Kusadasi.

Package starting day: Every Sunday (April - October) from Athens

  • SUNDAY: ATHENS On arrival you will be met by our assistant and transferred to your hotel by our mini bus or by our taxi driver. Rest of the day at leisure.
  • MONDAY: ATHENS / CORINTH Leave Athens and drive south-west to the Corinth Canal. Drive on and visit the Ancient Town of Corinth where St.Paul lived and preached for two years. Visit the remains of the city, the Agora and Apollo's Temple. A short stop at the Site of the Ancient port of Kehries and then return to Athens. Rest of the day at leisure.
  • TUESDAY: ATHENS / OLYMPIA Early in the morning, departure for a 4 days classical tour. Today visit ancient Mycenae and Epidaurus theater, famous for its acoustics. After a short stop at Nafplion ,drive on to Mycenae and visit the Archaeological site and the tomb of agamemnon.Then depart for Olympia  through the central Peloponnesus and the towns of Tripolis and Megalopolis. Overnight in Olympia,the cradle of the Olympic Games.
  • WEDNESDAY: OLYMPIA / DELPHI In the morning visit the sanctuary of Olympian Zeus, the ancient stadium and the archaeological museum. Drive on through the plains of Ilia and Achaia and over the magnificent cable stayed bridge of Rio-Antirio. Arrive in Delphi, overnight.
  • THURSDAY: DELPHI / KALAMBAKA In the morning visit the archaeological site and the museum. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town situated at the foot of the astonishing rock formations of Meteora. Overnight in Kalambaka.
  • FRIDAY: KALAMBAKA / ATHENS Visit Meteora. Amidst striking scenery, perched on huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless monasteries where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Return to Athens for overnight stay.
  • SATURDAY: ATHENS Free day in Athens for shopping, strolling through the city discovering its hidden charms or choosing from our optional sightseeing tours.
  • SUNDAY: ATHENS After breakfast we meet you at your hotel or close by, in order to start the morning half day Athens sightseeing tour (visit our tour section for more information).
  • MONDAY: ATHENS / MYKONOS Morning transfer from your hotel to the port by our mini bus or by our taxi driver to embark on your selected cruise ship. Afternoon arrival in Mykonos.
  • TUESDAY: SAMOS / KUSADASI / PATMOS First port of call early am today is  Samos island, where you can choose to have a panoramic island shore excursion (SAM-07), OR continue with cruise ship to the Turkish port of Kusadasi, with shore excursion to Ancient Ephesus (KUS-02). Then on to the island of Patmos, famous for the Monastery and the Grotto of St. John, stopping on the way on Samos  for passengers chosen to visit this island.
  • WEDNESDAY: RHODES Early morning call at the magnificent island of Rhodes, with Medieval Tour-Acropolis of Lindos and the Citadel of the Knights (RHO-01).
  • THURSDAY: HERAKLION / SANTORINI First port of call today will be the island of Crete with the palace of Knossos and the museum. Then on to the island of Santorini, believed to be the lost continent of Atlantis.
  • FRIDAY: ATHENS On disembarkation after breakfast, you will be met by our mini bus or by our taxi driver and transferred to the airport for your return flight home
  • SUNDAY: ATHENS On arrival you will be met by our assistant and transferred to your hotel by our mini bus or by our taxi driver. Rest of the day at leisure.

Appropriate clothing is required to visit the Monasteries. Long skirts below the knees for the ladies and long trousers for the gentlemen. The monasteries also provide long skirts before every entrance. The ladies can choose and wear a long skirt over their clothing, during the tour, and return it, prior to their departure.
