After we pick you up we will embark on our exploration of Mykonos by heading North towards what is perhaps the most iconic landmark in the whole island, the Armenistis Lighthouse. Built in 1891 after an English steamer sank in the waters near the area four years earlier, Armenistis has since become entangled with the history and subsequent rise in popularity of the island. Our next stops will inaugurate our beach hopping adventure as we make our way to two beloved beaches on the North side of the island, Panormos and Agios Sostis. Both beaches are located in a bay which gives grounds for excellent weather, and offer a view to Marmaronisi, a small islet named after its limestone deposits.
Driving back we will pass the artificial lake of Marathi before traversing the entire island to reach the South coast and the beach of Agrari, with its crystal clear waters. There we will take a short break and prepare ourselves for a truly traditional Myconian experience! The settlement of Ano Mera in the heart of the island is as close os one gets to understand how locals live. Quaint shops, picturesque Cycladic alleys and of course the famous Monastery of Panagia Tourliani paint a wonderful picture that helps you escape the hustle and bustle of Chora. A light meal in a local tavern will add a culinary aspect to your journey!
From tradition back to glamour as we find ourselves at Super Paradise beach, undoubtedly the most famous and party-friendly spot on Mykonos. Don't act surprised if you chance upon a celebrity or two! Continuing on the South side of the island, we will visit Psarou beach and the nearby Shopping Center called Nammos Village which hosts a number of major fashion houses. Another short stop is in order for you to browse to your heart's content.
Our final stop before we return to your hotel will be the beach of Ornos in the Southwest side of Mykonos. The azure waters of Ornos offer stunning views of the Aegean Sea. We know it's an impossible task, but on the ride back to your hotel try to decide which is your favorite of all the Myconian beaches!
