People think that Athens by night is more attractive than by day. We totally agree, and now is the time to discover why! During this walk you will have the opportunity to admire the Greek capital at its best. A local expert guide will take you on a romantic breathtaking tour where you will discover the intense Greek nightlife as well as the beauty of the city under the moonlight. Are you ready?

We will meet at Syntagma Square where the heart of Athens is beating. After having crossed the warmly illuminated Ermou Street, we will head towards the scenic Plaka area. The picturesque alleys along with the night sky create a magical ambiance, just like walking into a fairytale. We will continue our walk along Dionisiou Aeropagitou street, one of the most enchanting streets in Athens. On our left, we will see the brightly illuminated Acropolis museum and on our right the majestic Parthenon temple.

We will also be able to admire the magnificent Theatre of Herodes Atticus and we shall continue on to the scenic Pnika hill. From there, we will head towards Apostolou Paulou street, which leads to Thiseio where you can take in the view of the Ancient Market and Arios Pagos (the Greek Supreme Court or Court of Cassation). We will talk about the classical monuments and their role during the Golden Age of the Athenian democracy.

We have now reached the central square where many people spend the evening enjoying a drink with a view of the Acropolis. A little further down, on our right, we will admire the Ancient Market and the Stoa of Attalos, while on our left, we can see a variety of cafeterias and restaurants. If we carry on walking we will reach Monastiraki. The local expert will inform you about all the important monuments that you can see there, reminders of the Roman and Byzantine period. A must do, in Monastiraki, is to walk through the open air flea market that has an amazing collection of shops and products. It is a place full of life, a place that never sleeps.

Our Athens night tour ends in the picturesque area of Psyrri. A neighborhood known for its traditional cafes, bars and restaurants that serves authentic dishes known as ‘mezedes’. The local expert will take you to a place of their recommendation where you will experience the real Athenian nightlife.

The end of your evening will be spent in the company of locals where you will share experiences and enjoy ‘rakomelo’ (a sweet hot drink made of ‘raki’ and honey) and delicious Greek ‘mezedes’ that will make your time in Athens unforgettable! Indulge your senses and enjoy your night in a friendly, enchanting atmosphere.
