Artemis

Duration: 8 days / 7 nights
Ancient ruins at the archaeological site of Olympia, Peloponnese

This package is proof that Greece is as attractive a destination in winter as it is during the summer. Inspired by Artemis, the Hellenic goddess of the hunt and wilderness, we bring you a combination of mainland and islandic destinations to experience all that Greece has to offer. Your hunt begins from Athens, a cultural world capital, where you will have a chance to see the ancient sights sprinkled around the city, amidst cosy taverns and modern bars. Visit ancient monuments that seem to spring from every corner of the city, with the most famous among them being the Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum. You will then travel to an abundance of mainland cities with historic significance, like Delphi which housed the famous oracle, Olympia the home of the original Olympic Games and Meteora, which is a geological wonder full of Byzantine monasteries perched on steep cliffs. As your 4-day tour concludes and you find yourself back in the capital, you might think your adventure is close to its end. Alas, we have a surprise for you! A full-day cruise around the Saronic islands awaits you! Visit Poros, Aegina and Hydra, and island belonging to a niche group of places where cars are banned, to get a taste of the quiet life before you return home. Walk in the ports and dine in fish taverns to complete a majestic winter experience in Greece!
