A healthy dose of spirituality accompanies this trip to Ancient Corinth where you will follow the footsteps of Paul, almost two millennia after he preached in the city. Starting from your hotel in Athens, you will be transported in luxury through the Corinth Canal, a modern marvel of human ingenuity. A short stop for pictures is on the docket before we hop back on the road to reach Ancient Corinth.
Paul spent two years in the city, and later wrote his famous Letters to Corinthians -documents of immense Biblical importance- based on his experiences there. During our tour we will visit the Ancient Market & the Temple of Octavia as well as the famous Galionas -or as it is otherwise known- Bema of Apostle Paul. Our tour of Ancient Corinth will culminate in the Archaeological Museum of Corinth, which is full of important exhibits from antiquity.
On our way back to Athens, we will visit the city of Loutraki, on the Corinthian Gulf. Famous for the nearby thermal springs, which also give it its name, Loutraki has been something of a spa resort for Ancient Greeks.
