Sorry I have taken so long in giving you feedback on our Oct-Nov Greek vacation.  We had a wonderful time.  All of the arrangements went smoothly.  We were met each time at the airports and at hotel for transfers.  George was especially helpful at Nikos-Takis with ideas for dinner and places to go on Rodos.  In the old town, we felt like we were in a long ago century.  Dreams was unforgettable.  We arrived after dark at what looked like a vacant lot off of the road.  No hotel in sight and the view past the lot was dark, of course.  We were shown our "hotel room," villa was more like it.  In the morning with  bright sunlight, the view out of the suite was breathtaking.  Greek breakfast on white tablecloth while in robes and slippers was heavenly.  We thought we'd gone to heaven.
 
Athens Gate was also very nice.  The room was clean, pleasant, with nice view of Temple of Zeus.  Views from the top were spectacular, enjoyed with a wonderful breakfast.  The location was perfect for walking tours. 
 
Initially, you seemed pessimistic that we would not enjoy this trip so much due to being past the summer season.  We never wanted for good weather.  Everything we wished to see was open and not crowded.  We never had in mind hours laying on a warm beach as a reason to go to Greece, so we did not miss anything. 
 
Two wonderful tavernas come to mind that you might recommend to your clients going to Santorini.  Mataxi Mas had the best Saganaki we've ever tried.  Dimitri's in Oia down by the marina was like dining at a well kept secret.  Wonderful grilled fish right along the water.  Capt. Ted of Santorini Sailing recommended both.  We also highly recommend his sunset cruise. 
 
Thanks for putting this trip together.  I can think of nothing we would have done differently.

I want to thank you personnaly for your assistance directly and through you wonderful and well done web site www.greecetravel.com.  My friend Art and I did a wonderful 3-week vacation just returning yesterday from Athens back home in Ottawa, Canada.

I wrote you early on during our planning regarding booking at the Volcano View Villas and you refered us to Fantasy Travel.  This reference has been most fruitful and we did work with Nikos Emmanuil who helped us put together a good plan for our stay.  Him and his colleagues also were of great assistance in changing travel plans due to the general strkes and tension over the last three weeks.  We send our appreciation to Nikos.  Do not hesitate to mention it as well to his supervisor if you are in contact with them.

We also enjoyed meeting the transportation reps and the drivers in Athens, whom gave us good travel ideas and tips for things to do at each place we visited. My wife Helen and I arrived in Istanbul yesterday as scheduled. We would like to thank you for making our brief visit to Greece so enjoyable, the arrangements you put in place allowed us to enjoy ourselves without having to worry about anything. The hotels were excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.

We would like to see more of Greece in the future and will definitely seek Fantasy's assistance when the time comes.

My friend Cheryl & I decided to go to Greece in July 2011. After reviewing Matt Barrett's detailed website it took me to Fantasy Travel. I truly have never been treated better at planning a vacation like we were with Violetta. She was so thorough and gave wonderful suggestions on places to stay and what to see. Then having Miss Nellie and Takis meet us when we arrived was amazing. We landed in Athens during the taxi strike and never even knew that was going on until later. Fantasy Travel made this transition seamless. I continue to keep in touch w/ Violetta to plan our next vacation. We ended up sending sweatshirts from our hometown (Greece New York) --- how ironic as a thank you to the 3 of these special people. It's amazing how they became my friends and not just the "travel agents". What a wonderful company and I'm on your site a couple times a week just planning my next trip. We have settled back into things in Melbourne now but our time in Greece is still so much in our minds.

We had such a terrific time. The pity is that it was so short. Eleven days is not nearly long enough to do credit to such a magnificent country. I only hope that the current political/financial situation wont put people off visiting, because it shouldn't. Nothing can change the hospitality of Greek people, your incredible history, and stunning sights. Next time we will have to come for longer. We would really like to visite Crete because we heard so much about that island while we were there.

We loved all the places we visited - Athens, Skiathos, Thessoloniki, Meteora, Delphi.

Now the hub of the matter is this - our successful holiday was really all due to you and your team at Fantasy Travel. When I first started trying to organise our time in Greece, it all got too hard trying to decide where to go, coordinate internal travel, book accommodation, etc. Matt Barrett from "Travel Guide to Greece" first put us onto you and I am so grateful for that recommendation (I am copying Matt into this email so he knows how useful his recommendation was - thanks Matt).

Please pass on our sincere thanks to your team for their amazing service - especially Nelly, Diana, Vicky, Nikos, Spiros and other taxi drivers whose names I have forgotten (sorry).

Matt, Thanks for recommending Fantasy Travel. We had a great time in Athens, Peloponese, Hydra, Santorini, Crete and Rhodes.

Vasso, Thank you for organizing a wonderful trip. We were lodged in the best rooms in the best hotels. Every connection with rental cars, taxis and hotels was easy. We couldn't find the Sphinx restaurant in Santorini, or it was not open, but we found a great little restaurant called Naoussa in Santorini.
